Cameron Diaz Aging Philosophy: Living Well at Any Age

Longevity Book's cover. Cameron Diaz's approach on aging.

Children play in the park on a bright, sunny day while a grandfather walks by, watching them closely. The scene reminded me of Cameron Diaz’s aging approach. Like Diaz, he exhibited an active acceptance of his stage in life, his gentle smile and the twinkle in his eye reflecting the vitality and contentment that Diaz talks about in her book Longevity.

When she was turning 40, people kept on asking her about her age, how she was feeling now that she was older, and all sorts of questions that implied that something bad was about to happen. She wondered, “What is it about aging that everybody is asking me? Do I even know what aging is?” This sparked the light of a path that, together with writer Sandra Bark, fructified in a book that has inspired hundreds of people to live their best lives no matter what age.
